Anastacia Huang asked:
“Can you help me save my marriage? I don’t want a breakup” This was the question that was asked frequently when a couple is facing a marriage crisis. One of the most devastating situations is to end up in a divorce. Whatever it is, marriage is a lifetime commitment and you should do everything to save it. Think of what went wrong and what you really want first, would divorce be the best solution for everything? If you have children, you should do more to maintain a good marriage because effects of divorce on children can greatly affect their emotions and upbringing.
1. Do not contact your partner right away. You must be thinking I must be kidding why I encourage you not to call your partner when you are trying to salvage your marriage. Think in another way, your partner maybe undergoing some pressure and hesitation before they choose this decision. Instead of bugging them for an answer, give them or even yourself a chance to think. Invest more time on yourself. Find some leisure, go for a make-over or do anything that can make you feel confident and happy. Being confident in yourself will make your plan work better and higher opportunity to win back your love.
2. Please do not cry, beg or kneel down for getting back together. You will only make yourself look desperate and the other party will feel pressurize and threatened. Even if your partner decided to go back to you, the same thing will happen again after a while.
3. After the cooling period, sit down and figure out the problems that both of you are facing. Try to find a chance to speak to your partner about the problems. Please do remember, it is a discussion not a time for you to point faults on each other. Keep your mind and temper cool. You will make the situation worse if a discussion become a fight.
Now, if you want to know the ways to save your marriage, there are many ways to do it. It is only whether you are doing it the right way. Marriage is a sacred thing, do not give up so easily. If you want a guide that can tell you what to do to save your marriage and prevent it from a breakup.

Jean Cul Larose asked:
After over a decade of being married and together, it finally comes down to this. She/he doesn’t want to be with you anymore because they don’t have anymore feelings for you or, you committed an act of unfaithfulness and now everything is over. Regardless of what is the situation or whose fault is it, if your still wanting to be with that person but he/she doesn’t want to be with you, its really one of those hard times where it seems impossible to find a solution. It seems that a divorce is the only thing that’s gonna happen an is inevitable. Well, actually its not quite true…
There is still a possibility for you to save your marriage. Understand this that there is no impossible situation. How many couples have you heard going through even some of the worse possible scenarios such as unfaithfulness, finding another mate, losing their love for another or even worse, but somehow, they get back together? In fact it happens everyday. Breaking up isn’t something seasonal. It happens to couples every single day. But couples getting back together is also something that happens everyday. Its not uncommon to see a couple going through a scenario which seems hopeless and then come back together. No situation is impossible.
So what do you do now? Where can you find a possible solution? One thing that you’ll have to take note of is to be very careful with every move you do. I cannot stress on how much you have to be careful. It takes you one false move to make your marriage history! I’m not trying to scare you but I’m really trying to point this out for you. If you really want to save your marriage, I can’t get both of you to be together again, but what I can do is suggest you this guide. I strongly suggest you get a copy of this since It helped hundreds of people each and everyday get back together regardless of situations. This is pretty much the best I can do for you as of now. And one last note to you is not to wait to long because with time, your lovers indifference towards you grows and grows, making it much hard for you to get him/her back.

Myla Madson asked:
As a marriage counselor, I get this question a lot. If you are still considering trying to save your marriage, and in your heart of hearts you believe it’s possible, then I highly recommend you do what ever is necessary to avoid divorce.
I like to think of myself as an expert when it comes to helping people resolve marital conflict. My record speaks for itself, but what I’m most proud of is the program I put together that actually prevents bad marriages from ever happening.
When you ask the question, can I save my marriage, you must consider not only the time while married, but the events and relationship leading up to that marriage.
I always ask six questions regardless of what situation married couples find themselves in in an attempt to help me put together a plan of action to save their marriage, or sometimes, recommend a divorce.
The first consideration is the age of the couple when they were married. The younger a couple is, the higher their chance of a failed marriage.
Second, we look at their income. Lower income is a prime factor in the overall chance a marriage will fail.
Are there children involved who came BEFORE the I Do’s? Another marriage killer.
Were the couple’s parents divorced? If they were, there’s a significantly higher likelihood their marriage will fail as well.
Cohabitation before marriage is also a risk factor for divorce.
The one I concentrate on most is a person’s religious views. If I can strengthen a belief in God, even by a little, the marriage can be saved. The statistics don’t lie when it comes to divorce rates and people that believe in God and regularly attend church. They are much less likely to file for divorce and are notably more happy and content in their relationships.
These factors by no means determine your fate, but statistically speaking, those that fall into these categories are not ready for commitment, are under financial strain, and have not developed an accurate sense of the true meaning of marriage.
The most important thing you can do to save your marriage is to get help, do not try to do this alone. A marriage counselor or reputable home study course can drastically increase your overall chances of success. You need to educate yourself on why marriages fail, how to understand and relate to your partner, and most importantly, learn to effectively communicate with that partner.
You can begin your education by visiting my website and sign up for my free six part mini-course that will immediately set you on the path to recovery and allow you to avoid the costly and emotionally devastating reality of divorce.
