I keep hearing people promote really useless amendments, like defining marriage, prohibiting activities that one or other minority does not approve of. How about something useful? Like that any law passed by a lame-duck administration does not go into effect until the next administration signs off on it? How about no Federal, State or local government can be exempt from the laws it passes and requires others to obey? What sorts of useful amendments would you favor?
